Do I really need to say anymore?
Thanks to the developer and publisher, Mechanistry, Timberborn is a colony-building sim featuring beavers living on Earth, a planet that has been ravaged by humans. You are tasked with guiding your colony of beavers through the various stages of building their city.
Choose your Faction
Control one of two beaver factions: the nature-friendly Folktails or the industrious Iron Teeth. Each faction has unique buildings, technology, and gameplay traits. Choose what fits your playstyle!
You will have to tend to management aspects such as food production, uncover ways to protect your colony from the elements and deal with environmental challenges the environment presents to you.
Supercharged Beavers
Beavers’ engineering skills are legendary. With Timberborn’s 3D water physics and terra-forming, your engineering skills will be put to the test. Put up dams and floodgates, erect massive aqueducts, dig canals and tunnels with explosives, and reshape the terrain to your liking.
If that is not enough, can you be tempted by a Mech beaver? Supercharge your colony with mechanised beavers. Power them up, maintain them, and you’ll get extra-efficient workers for almost any job.
Timberton is available on PC through Steam Early Access. It is anticipated to leave Early Access on the 5th March 2026. It will also be available on GOG, / Epic Games Store, / Humble Store.
