Moonfrost: The New Life‑Sim RPG Rebuilding a World in Ruins

A purple-haired character stands beneath a glowing moon in a mystical landscape, surrounded by ethereal light, mist, and luminous flora

Moonfrost is a cosy life-sim RPG developed and published by Oxalis Games, an indie game studio, which is London‑based and founded by industry veterans. The game is set in a world ravaged by constant meteor storms. Farm, fish, craft, and build your dream home as you restore a village in ruins, find friendship or love, and unravel the mystery behind the Second Moon that looms above us.

Gameplay

A century ago, everything changed when a second moon appeared, unleashing devastation across the world. Its icy meteorites, known as Moonfrost, crashed into our lands, reshaping life forever. The First Frost Fall marked the beginning of a new era of danger and discovery.

Watch the official Moonfrost trailer and discover the life‑sim RPG built around farming, exploration, and a world changed by a Second Moon.

From this chaos, a rare group learned to control the power hidden within each frozen shard. These skilled survivors became known as Frost Hunters, dedicated to restoring balance in a fractured world. Their mission is simple but vital: rebuild civilisation one Moonfrost shard at a time. This is the world of Moonfrost, and your journey is ready to begin.

Moonfrost follows the journey of a fractured world and the people trying to survive within it. You’ll build friendships and explore potential romances with a cast of vibrant, complex characters, each carrying their own fears and flaws. As you help them grow, you’ll also uncover your forgotten past and reveal the truth behind Moonfrost and the mysterious Second Moon that hangs over the world.
